I want to again, reiterate that all the faithful are to be reminded that the obligation to attend Sunday Mass is still dispensed per Bishop Nickless.
The elderly and more vulnerable/high-risk parishioners should be reminded that because of this, it is not a mortal sin to miss Sunday Mass, even though it is being offered, and that it is preferable that they remain home at this time.
You will need to register to attend Mass each week. Registration for this upcoming weekend Mass will open Monday, June 29, at 10:00 am. Please visit
to sign up. If you do not have the internet, please call the parish office at 712-277-2949. We will be utilizing a new registration process this week. Please bear with us as we continue to learn how to best conduct a Mass registration. We never thought that this would be a weekly occurrence!
We need Ushers (under the age of 65) to check-in, seat, and assist parishioners to Holy Communion. We also need volunteers (under the age of 65) to help sanitize after each Mass. This should take no more than 30 minutes and we will train you on how to use our machines. If you are interested in volunteering sign up by visiting
We need your help! Check your mailboxes or e-mail for your parish ID. Then follow the link below!

Let’s continue our efforts to support our Siouxland community. “We Care” will give our Holy Cross family a way to give back to our local organizations. Each month you will be able to choose an organization that our parish will support through monetary gifts or donated items. “We Care” barrels will be located at the entrance of both St. Michael and Blessed Sacrament churches.
